Useful information
Your first visit – Comprehensive examination:
On your first visit to our practice we schedule you a full 1-hour appointment with one of our Dentists. We complete a thorough comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums which includes radiographic x-rays and an OPG. Once we have gathered all the necessary information about your dental health we are able to put together a complete treatment plan for your short and long term care.
Having this time with you prior to starting any treatment allows us to form a relationship with you and it gives time for you to feel comfortable in our care. We are also able to let you know the cost of your treatment requirements so you can plan well for your dental health care.
Appointment scheduling:
“Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend” Ben FranklinAs with many people, time is very precious to us and appointments are customised to your needs and visit. We make every effort to adhere to your appointment time and we ask that you please do the same. If you are unable to make an appointment, please offer us the courtesy of 48 hours’ notice, otherwise a fee may incur. With 48 hours’ notice, we can more easily accommodate patients who may be on standby, waiting for a suitable appointment time.
Payments:
Padstow Dental Centre requires payment on the day of treatment, so we make sure that you are informed of these costs prior to your visit.
We accept Cash, Cheques, EFTPOS and Credit Cards and are also conveniently set-up with the HICAPS facility, so your health fund claims are completed on the spot.
Infection control:
Our sterilizing room is state-of-the-art and set up with the latest equipment and technology to ensure your health and safety comes first. We have an extremely high standard when it comes to infection control and adhere to all the current guidelines set in the Australian Standards.
Our staff are highly trained and committed to giving our patients the safest environment possible.
